  4.                       ANIMATION COMPETITION

  7.    Marco and I thought it  would be  a good  idea  to set up some
  8.    sort  of animation competition to encourage people to  use the
  9.    two brilliant programs that Marco has  created. Hopefully, the
  10.    main  effect of  this will be a lot more  2D Amiga animations!  
  11.  
  12.    The closing date for the first competition has been set at the
  13.      1st of November 1997. Entry to the competition is free. 
  14.           So, what are you waiting for?... get to work!
  15.     Animation entries can be presented on Floppy Disk, Zip Carts`,
  16.    Video Tape (PAL or NTSC) or, if you can afford a writeable CD -
  17.      a CD ROM. Unfortunately, we can`t return any entries, unless
  18.     return postage is enclosed, as it would then cost us a fortune
  19.    to run the competition! So, make sure that you have made several
  20.                       copies of your masterpiece.

  22.       The first prize will be an original animation cel from a 
  23.    professional animated feature film or something similar. Apart
  24.     from this, the results will be anounced to the various Amiga
  25.         Magazines etc so you may become a bit of a celebrity!

  49.                          COMPETITION RULES
  50.  
  51.       1.  Animations must be 2D, all your own work, and have been
  52.           created within the last 12 months.
  53.       2.  Sound must be included.
  54.       3.  Animations can be any length.
  55.       4.  You must state what Amiga equipment and software you
  56.           used, other than CS or AED, to create your work.
  57.       5.  Closing date for entries is 1st November 1997.
  58.       6.  The winning entry will be announced on 14th November 1997.
  59.       7.  Sorry, but entries cannot be returned.  
  60.       8.  The decision of the judges is final.
